It's a jet powered giant bullfrog....gorilla of a rate!
My latest work for Ipswich Building Society involved drawing the typefaces for their ad campaign which is now up on a billboard in Ipswich! It was loads of fun to work on.

Beautiful

These beautiful illustrations are by Charlotte Trounce. She has lots of lovely work on her site. I like the bright colours of the jam labels and the characters in the Christmas card. I also like the 2012 olympic themed calendar - working with just two colours.

Orange wrappers
Today I came across a very nice collection of orange (and tomato) wrappers by Rose Reeves, which are particularly inspring for the next project I am going to be working on. See more of them here.

Wedding invitations
This week I've been finishing off designs of a wedding invitation for my best friend from uni. I'll post some pictures of the finished thing once they are back from the printers! This website has lots of lovely wedding invites on it and is always very inspiring.....

Some nice things
Crispin Finn are a design duo who only produce work in red, white and blue! I always find it a good challenge to work with a limited colour palette. I like the emphasis of using the joke printed on the wooden stick on the ice lolly print - it's a nice reminder of childhood!

I really like these themed posters by Claudia Pearson showing the variety of a certain vegetable. I like the combination of image and text too.

Wedding stationery
Joanna Millington
It's been a while since I blogged but that's because a lot has been happening. I've got married, been to Paris for honeymoon, moved house and studio all at once!
We felt very lucky to have Joanna Millington as our wedding photographer - here are just a few of some of our favourite photos from the day. Joanna did a brilliant job of recording the day, the details and capturing the people and the moments, all in such a beautiful and expressive way. Check out her blog!

Shop windows

I like this drawing by Emma Dibben. I like shop windows, they have a lot of interesting details to look at.

From Fi to you
A month or so ago, a friend asked me to design a label for her to sew on to her handmade Scandinavian inspired gifts. Her site is up and running now, so take a look at the beautiful products she has for sale!
