I've enjoyed working on a job forEat Methis week, I can't post the final image until Issue 4 is out on sale but here is some of the development work - it's all about fruit and nuts!
I want to take a trip to Oxford just to visit this new shop called Comma. They have lots of lovely goodies on sale from different illustrators and designers. I especially like the big letters in the window display. Have a look at their website, http://www.oxfordcomma.co.uk/
I came across this new range of city maps on wrapping paper, stocked at Lagom (http://www.lagomdesign.co.uk) and designed by Michael Hill. So far he has done London, New York, Paris and a World Map!
I've been having fun drawing corks today, part of the work for my Suffolk Food Hall Exhibition. I really like the little images and typography found on them.
It just seems to keep raining these days. Here are some rain clouds I have drawn recently, which one day soon, when I have time I would like to develop into a series of images or even a little book of rainy skies.
Some of my favourite things are: cutting paper, making rubber stamps, restaurants, brogues, tall buildings, photocopiers, screen-printing, takeaway coffee cups, fish, making marks and celebrating things I see.
